The First Snow Day

This kids were already off of school for a teacher workday, but then the teachers were sent home at 12:30 pm. All of the kids went sledding with Chris (and all of our favorite neighborhood kids) for about 2 hours. They came home, ate almost 4 large pizzas, watched a movie, then went sledding again with all of us for another 2 1/2 hours. We had SNOW much fun!!

Alexa and Kaitlyn's 4th Birthday Party...Princess Style

Abby went to her friends, twins Alexa and Kaitlyn's 4th birthday party. It was a Princess Party. Abby and all the other girls were dressed in princess gowns. They had the royal treatment; hair, nails, makeup, and jewels. They even learned a princess dance. Abby had so much fun!

Andrew's 2 Year Appointment

Andrew had a great appointment. He weighs 33 pounds and is 36 inches tall. That puts him in the 90th percentile for both height and weight. Our BIG Boy!

Sleepover

The girls had Marina and Julie over to spend the night. We love having sleepovers here. Even Abby slept with the girls on the floor. That was a first. :-)

Eat It...or Wear It!

Of course, Andrew always eats it. This time he decided to try wearing it. Silly boy!

The Dentist

Andrew had his first visit with the dentist. Abby had an appointment, too. Well, Andrew was awful. He screamed like a girl. Guess that's what happens when you have 3 sisters. He did enjoy the prizes at the end.

Andrew's Birthday Party

We invited 4-5 little one and two year old friends along with their siblings. The older kids played in the basement while the 2 and unders played in the playroom. We rented a little table and chairs for everyone to sit at for a Chick-fil-A lunch and cake. Andrew had a Little Einsteins cake. He really had a great time. :-) Enjoy the slideshow.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Andrew!

We took Andrew to the B & O Railroad Train Museum http://www.borail.org/ for his birthday. He really enjoyed it. The older girls were "bored". Big Surprise!! His favorite was watching the model railroad display setup in one of the real railway passenger cars.

That evening our neighbor friends came over for cake. We had to light Andrew's candle 3 times, but still could not get him to wait for us to sing before he would blow it out. Looks like he enjoyed his cake, huh?

Happy New Year!

It's so hard to believe that another year has passed! Chris had to work, so the SSAA crew and I headed out to the Troncale's House for the annual New Year's Eve party. At 9 o'clock, I walked Andrew down to the house for his date with our babysitter, Paige. Chris joined the party around 12:30 AM. We made our way home around 2:15 AM. I'm sure you are all wondering if the girls were able to stay awake...yes, even Abby. Of course, I told her she had to take a nap before the party and she slept for 3 hours.

Everyone slept in until around 10:30 the next morning! Happy New Year!

Hershey Park's Christmas Candy Lane

We made somewhat of a last minute decision to pack up the kids and go to Hershey Park on Tuesday night. Chris is off on Tuesday Nights, so we decided to take a little family trip. It was a lot of fun despite the freezing cold temperatures. We'd forgotten that Andrew had yet to learn about standing in line for a ride. Oh, and when the ride stops, we have to get off. He did some crying for both of those instances. Poor guy just didn't understand the concept.

Sarah and Samantha were terrific big sisters, taking the little ones on rides. They even took Abby on the Tilt-A-Whirl. She loved it.

The last ride of the night was on the Choo Choo Train. Andrew was able to sit in the engine and ring the bell. He loved it! We hope to go again next year.

Christmas #4 - Grandpa Joe's

Well, since we cancelled everyone for Christmas, due to the overwhelming illnesses of myself and the kids (except Samantha...Queen Immunity), I took the kids to my dad's house on Sunday. Grandma C was there, too. The kids opened some more presents. I think Andrew's remote control bus and fire truck were a huge hit. :-) I let me dad crush me at Mario Kart a few times to make him feel young again (ha ha...the truth is he crushed me b/c he is better at Mario Kart...for now). We watched the Redskins lose their last game, then packed it up and headed home.
