Take Me Out To The Ball Game

June 12, 2008-We took an overnight trip to York, PA to visit Uncle Tighe, Auntie Kathy, Ma & Pa for the Perform Group LLC company picnic. That's Uncle Tighe's company, the one that makes the costumes for the girls' dance studio. We enjoyed ballpark food then attended the York Revolution baseball game. What a fun trip, but WAY too short.

Miss Independent

That's Abby for sure! I told her she needed to get dressed for dinner. She had to take a shower because she didn't quite make it up the stairs to the potty in time...at least the stairs got mopped. Anyway, she said, "Mommy! I just got pants and a shirt!" So I of course am just imagining her in winter pants. Well, as you can see, I wasn't too far off. At least she had on underwear...but they were backwards. And the matching skills are just incredible! I laughed so hard. When she sat down she said, "There's a hole (pointing to the turtle neck)" I said, "That's for your head!" She
laughed when I showed her the picture. Hope it gives you a little giggle, too!

Do you think Andrew likes popsicles?

YES, would be the correct answer! Thanks Ms. Joyce for the popsicles. Believe it or not, most of the popsicle did go in his mouth. :-)

Caitlin's 4th Birthday Party

What a Cutie! Abby had so much fun!

My goddaughter, Caitlin, is turning 4 so she celebrated with a Gymnastics Party. What a great time. She even got to fly through the air like Tinker Bell. We also enjoyed Mary's YUMMY cupcakes (Mary is Caitlin's grandma...she makes the best cakes EVER!). HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CAITLIN!!!

Last Day of School, Grade 3, and Piney Orchard E.S.

It was a day we won't forget. The last day of school at Piney Orchard Elementary on June 6th. After 4 years of wonderful memories, Samantha and Sarah came home with Honor Roll Report cards, again. What a wonderful experience it has been and we look forward to making many great memories at our new school...Four Seasons Elementary School. The principal was my speech teacher (the secret is out...I couldn't pronounce R's) when I was in the 2nd grade. Sarah and Samantha will be her first children of a former student. She is a wonderful principal and we know the transition will be fine! Look out Four Seasons...here we come!!

Samantha the Soccer Star

The Blue United ASA soccer team had it's party Thursday night. We finished the season with only 1 loss. Not too bad!! This season Samantha wasn't the only girl on the team. There were 3 total. Yeah!!!! Carli, in the picture with Samantha, has been a friend of ours since the girls were babies. Samantha hopes Coach Paul will coach the team again in the Fall. Great Job Samantha and Blue United!!

Our Ballet Star...We Are So PROUD!

Sarah's ballet recital was on Sunday. She did a beautiful job. We are so proud of her accomplishments this year in ballet. I am sorry some of the pictures are out of focus, but we were not allowed to use the flash during the performance. I am sure you'll enjoy these anyway. Look for the white arrows I placed in the pictures to identify Sarah. A BIG thank you to Uncle Tighe and Auntie Kathy for the dance lessons for Sarah and Abby. They have absolutely loved it! So much, they are both dancing this summer and Samantha is going to dance, too!!
