Look Who's Riding Their Bikes...Without Training Wheels

As a parent, we all recall when we first learned to ride a bike. A grown up there to hold on as we'd fall and get back up. Well, not my kids. Oh no! They came inside Tuesday evening announcing, "You have to come see something!" So off Chris and I went, wondering what they were up to now, a silly show no doubt. Nope, they were riding their old bike, which now belongs to our 5 year old neighbor Marina. Just the day before, her mom removed the training wheels and off Marina went. So, we pulled out their new bikes (Thanks Uncle Tighe and Auntie Kathy) and gave just a few pointers on hand brakes and turns.

So those of you out there whose older child hasn't mastered the bike riding thing yet, all you need is a spunky 5 year old to show up the big kids. Peer pressure is GREAT!! Thanks Marina! As of today, Marina has inspired 2 more sisters on our street to lose the training wheels!
