Happy Thanksgiving! Wow, time sure flies! We have so much to be thankful for this year. It's hard to believe that last year we had just moved into our new house and were just a month away from welcoming a new member to our family. This year we had our 1st Thanksgiving in the dining room. It was almost 70 degrees outside. Grandpa Joe, Grandma C, Uncle Scott, Granddaddy, and Grandmommy joined us. Uncle Rob, Aunt Kelly, Alex, and Joshua stopped by for a visit before dinner.
Andrew ate EVERYTHING!!
We had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, rolls, broccoli salad, cranberry sauce (made by Sarah), Asparagus, macaroni & cheese, and ham. There was so much food! Didn't matter though, Abby immediately asked for a hot dog. :-) Oh, and who could forget pecan and pumpkin pies. YUMMY! The girls made the place setting cards with finger prints- orange-Samantha, yellow-Sarah, and brown- Abby. They really did a great job. Of course, it wouldn't be a holiday without one of my children being sick. Poor Sarah had some little stomach bug (no barf, just pains). She returned to normal the next day.
